He combines deep experience with a reputation for clear and decisive guidance, earning the trust of investors, developers, and institutions involved in commercial real estate and corporate matters across the country.

Andrew’s practice covers all aspects of real estate, including acquisition, development, leasing, financing, management, and disposition. He has developed a strong focus on shopping center purchases and sales, where he manages the many moving parts required to close complex deals and secure financing. His ability to coordinate title, survey, lender, environmental, and tenant-related issues allows clients to move from contract to closing with confidence. Each year, Andrew negotiates and closes more than $200 million in real estate transactions across retail, industrial, office, and multi-unit residential properties. He also has extensive experience with 1031 like-kind exchanges, including multi-party transactions that require careful timing and structure of downleg and upleg transactions.

His business and corporate practice spans all stages of company operations and strategic growth. He advises clients on entity formation, governance, and operational structure, and regularly assists with asset and equity purchases and sales, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. Andrew also drafts and negotiates a wide range of commercial contracts, including service agreements, operating agreements, partnership documents, and other business arrangements. Clients value his ability to combine strategic insight with practical execution, providing clear, solutions-oriented guidance that helps them operate efficiently and achieve their goals.

Before joining the firm, Andrew practiced business and insurance defense litigation and appellate law. He successfully resolved several multimillion-dollar disputes and argued matters before the California Courts of Appeal for both the Second and Fourth Districts.

Andrew earned his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law and his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California, where he was a member of the Men’s Varsity Water Polo Team and his fraternity, Beta Theta Pi.
